Act fast now! | Richard Elfman’s crowd-funding campaign for Forbidden Zone 2 closes 11 May!

Forbidden Zone 2

Forbidden Zone 2 is the upcoming sequel to the outrageous fantasy musical that producer/director Richard Elfman did with his composer brother Danny Elfman back in 1980. That micro-budgeted film subsequently became a popular cult phenomena, has been produced as a stage play in major cities and is currently being live “shadow cast” by Rocky Horror troupes.

FZ2 is planned to be bigger, badder and bolder than the original and Elfman is crowd funding a portion of the budget through Indiegogo to maintain that creative independence.

Along with the outrageous humor and absurdity of the original, FZ2 will again dazzle its audience with unforgettable vintage musical numbers along with some sizzling hot originals by Danny.

If you want to contribute, then you only have until May 11, 2014 (11:59pm PT) to do so. Check out the Indiegogo site now where you can choose a number of funding gifts, from signed DVDs, posters and instagrams to appearing as an extra in the film, with prices starting from just US$10.
