Sparks ignite Guy Maddin’s The Forbidden Room with the deliciously twisted The Final Derriere

The Final DerriereWith Guy Maddin and Evan Johnson’s phantasmagoric opus, The Forbidden Room, screening supersize (a world first) at the BFI IMAX today as part of the London Film Festival, Lil Beethoven Records have released the The Final Derriere from avant-garde pop-meisters Sparks.

This deliciously twisted tune was specially commissioned for Maddin and Johnson’s deranged cinephile extravaganza which features the legendary Udo Keir (in a white wig that’s part Andy Warhol, part Christopher Lee from The Oblong Box) being lobotomised to curb his penchant for pinching bottoms, while a whip-wielding Geraldine Chaplin plays his subconscious desire, Master Passion.
The Forbidden Room gets its UK release in December
